Between the Blackboard and the Prompt begins with a conviction: artificial intelligence can support teaching, but it does not know the class, follow each learner's journey, or assume responsibility for pedagogical choices. The book therefore places teachers' authorship and judgment at the center of technology adoption.
It covers planning, the creation and adaptation of materials, activities, assessment, privacy, ethics, and institutional agreements. Rather than offering automatic recipes, it provides questions and criteria for deciding when AI contributes, how its output should be reviewed, and how to preserve the connection between pedagogical intent, context, and genuine learning.
